At the AGM of the Hampshire Chess Association Southampton’s David Nelson has been elected Vice President with the aim of eventually succeeding President Chris Priest.  Apart from that the committee remains unchanged.  The Association is making plans for its’ annual congress which will be held at the Lysses House Hotel at Fareham over the weekend of 1st to 3rd November.

On Thursday 13th June the AGM of the Southampton Chess League will be held at the Chandlers Ford Central Club commencing at 7.30 pm.
