A comprehensive defeat at the hands of University A has virtually ended Ringwood A’s chances of retaining the Division 1 title. Meanwhile, Hamble A improved their chances with a 3-2 away win against Southampton A. In division 3 Chandlers Ford C’s win against Salisbury B has put them two points ahead of the Wiltshire club, while the bottom of the table match between Winchester B and University B finished all-square

In division 4 Chandlers Ford B lost their unbeaten record, but remain clear at the top of the table, while in the match between Southampton D and Andover B the player with the white pieces won every game.

In division 5 Salisbury C had two comfortable away wins, one against leaders Basingstoke who are still favourites to win the division.
