Creditable performance in a narrow loss

Chiltern Chess League

Hampshire lost by a single point away to Buckinghamshire yesterday (7 Dec 2019). This was a creditable performance given the grading differences (167 v 149 average grades) and as we defaulted one board due to a player being stuck in a traffic jam. Hampshire winners were Mark Cleary, making his Hampshire debut, Tim Chapman and Chris Priest. Match details can be seen on the results page here.

Our next match will take place on Saturday 18th January, 2pm start, away to Berkshire (Victory Hall, Church Road, Farley Hill, Reading. RG7 1TR).

Please let me know if you are available to play.

Regards Fraser
