Ringwood D qualified for the Division 5 Cup final where they will face Chandlers Ford D. Chandlers Ford D will have home advantage for the final as although both teams won their semi final 3-1 they had a marginally higher board count than Ringwood.

In division 1 Ringwood A introduced a new player on board 2 and comfortably beat Salisbury A to regain top spot in Division 1 from Southampton A, while Salisbury A remain rooted to the bottom of the table. Hamble A obtained their fourth draw from six matches in the same division.

Chandlers Ford B completed the double for Winchester C with Nobby George and John Kooner who live close to each other in Chandlers Ford being their two winners.

In last week’s article James Lesniak was incorrectly described as Michael Lesniak.

New grades are now available for Southampton League players.
