The Portsmouth & District Chess League has started with Portsmouth and Cosham awaiting the result of the adjourned game between Mark Broom and John Wheeler. Thomas Evans (Cosham) and Simon Venables (Portsmouth) secured wins for their teams but will Broom brush aside Wheeler for the victory?
