Hampshire Junior Chess Association

The Hampshire Junior Chess Association was founded in 1975 and aims to promote chess for junior (aged eighteen or less) chess players who reside or attend a school in the County of Hampshire. HJCA coordinates the organisation of events, organises its own events, manages Hampshire junior teams and generally manages junior chess activity in the Hampshire area. Our focus is to grow chess in schools, clubs, grow teams and support the senior teams that represent Hampshire.
