David. Former F.I.Mech.E., aged 74, in Poole, late of Rowlands Castle, Hants. Born in Horden, Co. Durham. David worked at I.C.I. Billingham, Simon Carves, Cheadle, and John Brown/Trafalgar House/Akar Kvaerner in Portsmouth.

He played chess at Cosham Chess Club and for County Durham, Cheshire and Hampshire.

Married to Valerie for 49 years, father of Elizabeth and Anne, father-in-law to John and Peter, proud grandfather of Charlotte, Louisa and Maria. Very much loved. The family wishes to thank the staff of Regency Manor Care Home who treated David like a cherished relative for 4 years.

Funeral Service
Monday 4th March, 12.45 pm at Bournemouth Crematorium.
