Eastleigh Rail

A few pictures Eastleigh Rail D - Ordnance Survey C match on Thursday 19 March 2009. This match saw the debut of young Joseph Henbury for the Eastleigh Railway club. Joseph is only eight years old (I couldn't play chess at that age), and did very well, forcing a draw - after offering his opponent Eric Parker a draw four times during the game. Keven Lamb.

At the other end of the age scale in the club is Gunthur (83, will be 84 in April 2009). Gunthur's opponent Jos blundered his queen and Gunthur built on this to score a win.
